The Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria, Cross River State chapter has inaugurated Dr. Lawrence Ekwok as the State Chairman for another four-year term.
The inauguration ceremony took place at the Church of God Mission, Victory Way, Satellite Town in Calabar, the Cross River State capital.
The Fellowship inaugurated twenty members as State Executives of PFN, with Dr. Lawrence as the Chairman, and twenty other as State Advisory Council (SAC).
In his acceptance speech, Dr. Ekwok promised to discharge his duties without fear or favor, adding that he will uphold the constitution of PFN and the Holy Bible.
His words, “Let me begin by thanking God which has been so merciful to me. I promise to serve under the national leadership and according to the constitution of PFN and well as that of the Holy Bible, bearing in mind the need for satisfactory performance.
“We pledge that PFN Cross River State under my leadership will maintain it’s integrity and we would do our best to maintain it’s lasting legacy. And we pray that God helps us.” He ended.
Climax of the event was the signing of the certificate of office.
