Cross River University of Technology (CRUTECH) has formally welcome 6, 245 student into various Faculties.
Addressing matriculating student, the Vice Chancellor represented by Chairman Committee of Deans, Professor Matthew Nsing Ogar admonished students to shun every form of distractions such as gangs and sorting.
“You must resolve to wrestle with your distractive forces which may conflict and compete with your primary purpose of achieving academic excellence. I equally urge you to shun cultism and all forms of examination malpractice such as sorting. The university has zero tolerance for cultism and other form of social vices.” He said.
The VC however charged students to be focused, discipline and adhere to the institution’s rules and regulations.
Adding that CRUTECH is a technology based institution that call for sufficient contribution of energy on the part of the management, staff and students to the task of achieving it.
The highlight of the ceremony was oath taking and admission of matriculating student. Parents, guidance, well wishers and students where in attendance.
