An Ibadan resident simply known Okoye Maria Emmanuel has called out to Cross Riverians and well meaning Nigerians to help him raise the sum of 10 million Naira to conduct a kidney transplant.
Emmanuel Okoye in a letter signed by his Senior Clinical Officer at the Renal Dialysis Centre, University College Hospital (UCH) Ibadan, Dr. Agbeyangi, explains that the donation is to enable him (Emmanuel) maintain his routine dialysis treatment, which is currently aided through a vascular access, known as Tunneled Haemodialysis Catheter, and to also help conduct a kidney transplant.
Emmanuel Okoye, whose mother hails from Yala in Cross River State was diagnosed of Advanced Chronic Kidney Disease in September 2018 at UCH, Ibadan.
“Please donate and help save his life. God bless you as you donate and keep him in your prayers,” the letter reads in part .
