Senator Gershom Bassey Lauds Prince Otu For Withdrawing Petition

Senator Gershom Bassey, the Senator representing the Southern Senatorial district of Cross River State has lauded Prince Otu who contested for the seat against him on the platform of the All Progressives Congress for discontinuing his election petition matter at the Tribunal.

Senator Getshom Bassey in a statement released and made available to our reporter said the action of Prince Otu is commendable and a mark of leadership by example.

Senator Gershom Bassey also lauded the Governor of the State, Senator Ben Ayade for his effort in reconciling all aggrieved persons in the State.

He called on all those who participated in the election to join hands with those who emerged victorious “for the good of the State.”
