CrossRiverWatch investigation has revealed that Governor Ayade is sending 5 Directors and a Surveyor to the five LGAs in Cross River North Senatorial district to bribe their Paramount Rulers with two hundred and fifty thousand Naira each, to concede 200,000 hectares of land each, totalling one million hectares.

In a letter we obtained, DG of Due Process Alphonsus Ogar Eba directed the Ministry of Lands and Urban Development to proceed to the affected LGAs and negotiate with the Paramount Rulers of the affected LGAs. 2.5 million has been approved for the exercise to commence on Friday.

The letter did not specify the purpose for which the land will be used.

Ayade recently said he is acquiring 2000 hectares each in Boki and Obubra, making a total of 1.4million.

Remember, nine square kilometre has already been annexed for the Obudu International Airport.
