Agiababegiaka FC Wins 6th Edition Of Adamade Unity Cup

The Agiababegiaka FC defeated the defending champions, Team Honour Ayade 2-1 to emerge the champions of the 6th edition of Comrade Odey Adamade Unity cup competition.

The annual football fiesta which is named after the sponsor, Barr. Odey Adamade is usually hosted during the Obudu new yam festival featuring teams from all the ten wards in the local Government.

The third place of this year’s tournament which was played over the weekend was won by the Bekpam FC.

Speaking, Barr. Adamade said that the tournament was initiated to bring young people in the area together as there was nothing that unites people like football.

He added that his objective is also to see how scouts around the world would become part of the tournament in the future to identify talents who will be supported to achieve their dreams.
