The Nigeria Association of Women Journalists (NAWOJ), Cross River State Chapter has congratulated her Secretary, Mrs. Imani Odey on her recent appointment as a Senior Special Assistant on Electronic Media to the Governor.
This was contained in a statement issued by the association’s State Chairman, Mrs. Umo Basi-Edet.
Basi-Edet described her appointment as well deserved lauded the Governor, Sir Ben Ayade for making the”best choice”.
The NAWOJ Chairman added that “as a Professional Journalist, Imani has proven her mettle and has always distinguished herself in the discharge of her duty”.
The association “expressed confidence that the newly appointed S. S. A will bring her wealth of experience to bear in the Industrialization drive of the State Government”.
Fearless Reports reported that Imani, Channels TV Cross River State correspondent was first appointed a Special Assistant but was recently elevated to the position of a Senior Special Assistant on Electronic Media to the Governor.
