BREAKING NEWS: Cross River IRS Seals First Bank Over Debt

Officials of the Cross River State Internal Revenue Services has sealed the premises of First Bank in Calabar.

According to the Director Legal Services to the State IRS, Mr. Simeon Adie who spoke to our reporter from the bank premises in Calabar (8 Miles) said the bank has refused to meet up with revenue debt accrued to the State Government.

He went on to reveal that his client has exhausted all available options to get the bank management clear it’s debt leaving them with no option than to seal off the bank.
