A Chieftain of the All Progressive Congress (APC) in Cross River State, Barrister Utum Eteng, has welcomed the Governor of Cross River State, Sen. Ben Ayade to APC should in case he dumps PDP.
Barrister Eteng on his Facebook wall likened political party to church adding that should the Governor decamp to APC, this will bring to an end the speculations about him and the APC.
In his post he said: “It is in my mind to hearty welcome the digital Governor Prof. Knight Ben Ayade to the State APC if he decides to come to the APC thus putting an end to the speculations about him and the APC.
“Every political party is like a church where members have the constitutional right to join with permission. Welcome Prof. Welcome Knight of Saint John’s International. Welcome the digital Governor. Emedioo Ete.”
He held the opinion that for now our political system is fluid.
There have been speculations by many that the Cross River number one citizen has the intention of defecting to the ruling opposition party.
