A Cross Riverian, Efio-Ita Nyok has written the State Governor, Sen. Ben Ayade on his 52 birthday.
Nyok in his letter to Ayade he urged the Governor to be more tolerant with critics and focus on governance.
Nyok, the Central Working Committee (CWC) member representing Cross River State chapter of Partners for Peace (P4P) wrote: “On this auspicious day of yours I write to wish you and yours well.
“I also request that you drop all charges against your fierce critics —Joseph Odok and Agba Jalingo including Jeremiah Ojanga Archibong and Jonathan Abang Ugbal.
“Secondly, like Anthony Bissong Attah just observed, ask your boys at the 9th Cross River State House of Assembly (CRSHA) to confirm Justice Akon Ikpeme as Chief Judge of Cross River. May parochial interests especially ethnicity not constitute an albatross to justice and fair play in your politicking.
“Finally, take your industrialisation initiative more seriously, it can evolve to be the legacy we’ll always relish about you post-2023 or the challenge to a good name.”
