Two Gunshots Fired As Army And Police Clash In Calabar

Men of the Nigerian Army and Police have exchanged fisticuffs in Calabar, the Cross River State capital.

According to eye witness, the problem escalated after a Mobile Policeman attached with Homeland security stationed at Rabana roundabout slapped the soldier.

The heated argument which happened Wednesday evening caused traffic gridlock with several uniform men roaming around as at the time of filing this report.

Though two gunshots were fired while the Army man whose name wasn’t gotten was struggling riffle with the Moble Policeman.

The situation was brought under control by the intervention of senior officer from both force.
