The Cross River Police Command has arrested one Christian Awor, aged 19, for allegedly killing a 4 years old boy (name withheld) by strangling in Ikom Local Government Area of the State.
The State Police Commissioner, Mr. Uche Anozia, who paraded the suspect in Calabar, said his arrest followed a complaint by one Asu Caroline that her grandson was missing, but in the long run discovered that the suspect, one Christian Awor, age 19, took the child to a nearby bush and strangled him to death.
According to the CP, the suspect confessed to the crime and will be arraigned in Court soon.
