Armed Gangsters Numbering Over 100 Cause Unrest In Akpabuyo

Information reaching our newsroom has it that suspected gangsters numbering over 100 with axes and locally made guns as at 7:45pm were shooting from maternity axis of Akpabuyo Local Government Area to near forestry checkpoint.

As at the time of filing this report, they have all entered a village called Ifondo, in Calabar outskirts.

The reason behind the shooting is unknown and no casualty has been recorded as at press time.

The Police are yet to be contacted for comment.
