BREAKING: Dr. Vivien Otu Released From Kidnappers Den

Dr. Vivien Otu, the pediatrician in the University of Calabar Teaching Hospital who was kidnapped on August 28, 2020 has been released.

She was abducted shortly after a meal at a restaurant in Calabar, the Cross River State capital.

Security sources confirmed this to CrossRiverWatch moments ago. Also, the Chairman of the Nigerian Medical Association in the statw, Dr. Innocent Abang confirmed this.

As at press time, it was unclear whether a ransom was paid.

The medical association had mounted pressure on the government. They withdrew services since August 30, 2020.
