#EndSARS and #PoliceBrutality protesters in Calabar, the Cross River State capital on Wednesday chased alleged sponsored thugs, threatened to set two ablaze after the successful hot chase.
The said alleged Government sponsored thugs numbering fifteen in number were pursued when they arrived at the protesting point at Effio-Ete junction and tried to unleash mayhem but were over powered by the alerted protesters.
While others ran away, two were caught and were beaten before taken to unknown Police station.
Efforts to make the alleged thugs to confess proved unsuccessful.
