Utomo Obong is a reactivated traditional event celebrated annually which allows the component communities of the Efik Kingdom come out, in the spirit of loyalty, solidarity, kinship and friendship, to pay homage to their apex King.
It also avails non-indigenous resident communities the opportunity to demonstrate their loyalty and goodwill to their host community represented by the Obong.
