A suspected car snatcher, Ikechukwu John and and his spouse, Chibuzor Nduka, have been nabbed by security operatives in Anambra State.
In an interrogation by the operatives, the suspect disclosed that, though he deals on cars (both genuine and stolen cars), he connives with his gang members to snatch cars and bring for him to buy.
He confessed that, the latest deal which led to his arrest and his spouse was a kidnaping a woman, then took off her with her Honda Pilot car that was being transported to Aba, Abia State.
Chibuzor Nduka who was the driver of a Prado Jeep, another vehicle Ike’s cohorts snatched in Cross River State and sold to him at NGN1.5 million.
Chibuzor Nduka denied she was not aware the Prado Jeep they were arrested with had guns in it but however attests that, her spouse does illegal car business but could not report him to the Police because she loves him.
Items recovered from the Bonnie and Clyde include guns, bullets and Nigerian Air Force badge amongst others.
