#CRIMEWatch: More Suspected Criminals Arrested As Police Raid Akpabuyo

The Police in Cross River have arrested a community chief popularly refered to as “3030” in Akpabuyo LGA in connection with multiple crimes. The arrest was made yesterday during a joint security operation in Akpabuyo LGA.

According to security sources who spoke to CrossRiverWatch, Chief 3030, was arrested with a vertical double barrel gun with no license.

Our source said three of 3030’s children are kidnappers. While one is said to have been killed, another is in prison for kidnapping while the third is said to have escaped a police manhunt to Ikot Ekpene. Chief 3030’s driver is also in prison for the kidnap and killing of one Udosen.

The operation also got in their net, a young man alleged to have raped a 61year old woman and an ex militant involved in kidnappings.

A notorious drug dealer simply identified as Effangha, was also arrested during the operation.
