Studio 81 Productions, a concept and event management agency is organizing the maiden edition of Calabar Soccer Tournament.
According to Hon. Anthony Duke, CEO Studio 81 Productions in a statement, the tournament is to kick-off Monday, 15th and run through the 27th of March 2021.
Venue is the training pitch of the U. J. Esuene Stadium Calabar, Calabar Municipality. The final first (1st) to third (3rd) winners would go home with an award of cash prizes.
The competition being the maiden edition according to the organizers is aimed at achieving the following:
Promoting peace among youths and encouraging the restoration of Calabar’s glory as the most peaceful city in Nigeria.
Engaging the youths through the foremost sporting event (football) to effectively communicate the twin pillars of peace and unity.
Discovering talented players and giving them the opportunity to showcase themselves to the larger football community.
Promoting sport tourism and building bridges for a friendlier and united Nigeria.
For the actualization of a successful tournament Studio 81 Productions is in partnership with the Cross River State Tourism Bureau and the Cross River State Football Association.
