300 Level UNICROSS Student Killed By Robbers, Two Suspect Arrested

A 300 level student of Visual Art Department, University of Cross River State, UNICROSS, Calabar campus identified as Ford (real name not verified) has been killed by armed robbers.

The incident occured within the school premises close to the school administrative building, few metres away from the Security post yesterday Thursday, June 3, 2021 at about 8pm.

According to eye witness, Ford witnessed when a gang of three armed robbers robbed a female student of her smart phone and gave them a hot chase to reclaim her phone, there he got stabbed multiple times and bled to death.

Sources however, said he gave up the ghost after twenty minutes of trying to move him to the hospital.

Two of the three suspects were apprehended by the UNICROSS security while one escaped.

At the time of filing this report, it cannot be ascertained if the suspects are bonafide members of the institution and the real name of the victim.
