Port Harcourt Electricity Distribution Company, PHED, has apologized for the unstable public power supply witnessed in its franchise States will be rectified soon.
PHED in a public announcement on Tuesday, June 1, 2021, said the outage is as a result of generation constraint which has led to the intermittent supplies and will be addressed in a jiffy.
“Please be informed that the intermittent outage you are currently experiencing within our franchise States is as a result of power generation constraint.
“Supply will improve as soon as it is rectified,” it reads.
PHED is a private electric distributor that provides power for over fourteen million people in four States of Nigeria including Rivers, Bayelsa, Cross River and Akwa Ibom.
