The Chairman-elect of the Cross River State chapter of the All Progressives Congress, Alphonsus Eba has said that Governor Ben Ayade will determine his successor.
Mr. Eba stated this Wednesday in Ijibor, Bekwarra while addressing supporters of two-term federal lawmaker, Legor Idagbo who gathered constituents for an empowerment program.
Eba who said the current occupant of the office of the Senator representing northern Cross River, Jarigbe Agom will commit political suicide like the biblical Judas Iscariot after betraying Jesus Christ, sued for unity in order to project Mr. Ayade as the leader in the same vein other senatorial districts are doing.
On the 2023 general elections, Mr. Eba said it was going to be judgment for the Peoples Democratic Party as they have already been “lobotomized.”
He referred to the PDP as “PortHarcourt Neighborhood Rascals,” referencing claims that the party in the State was funded by Governor Nyesom Wike of Rivers State.
