In 3 weeks the University of Calabar, in the first capital Federal Capital Territory of Nigeria has witnessed 3 fire outbreaks.
The recent is the Department of Continuous Education and Development Studies which happened today, Wednesday, 9 February 2022.
This is coming three weeks after the Department of Mathematics, in the same varsity, was razed down on Sunday, 30 January, 2022.
On Sunday, 6 of February 2022, the Department of International Relations was the first victim of the strange fire attacking the school.
The cause of all three fires which can not be ascertained at the time of filing this report took the efforts of both staff and students to put them off.
