Market women have taken to the street to protest the relocation of 8 Miles market from Agro Feed by Ntoe street to Timber market Ikot Enebong.

The women in their large number barricaded the Calabar – Ikom highway (infront of the old market, after the Army checkpoint).

The market was moved by the previous administration but didn’t enforce it.

As at the time of filing this report, the protest was ongoing as there’s no vehicular movement in and out of Calabar, the Cross River State capital.
