Mr. Asuquo Ekpenyong, the Cross River Finance Commissioner, and the APC Youth Lobby Group have offered a full scholarship to the children of late Achoda Odene who lost his life in the accident with the convoy of the group yesterday.
In a press release made on behalf of the group and signed by Mr. Offiong Onoyom, an aide to the Governor on Social Media, the group paid a condolence visit to the family of the deceased, and had met with “the management of the resort, the Clan Head and members of the Ranch Community.”

The statement reads in part: “Mr. Asuquo Ekpenyong while engaging with the community has committed to providing a full scholarship to university level to the children of the deceased.
“We deeply mourn and grieve with the family as our hearts and prayers are with them at this trying moment.”
