Barring any last-minute change, Senator Sandy Onoh, the guber candidate of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP in Cross River State for the March 2023 polls will pick academic entrepreneur, Sir Arthur Jarvis Archibong as his deputy.
Different sources within the party told CrossRiverWatch that Senator Onoh communicated his position with some party stakeholders kicking against Mr. Archibong’s nomination.
A southern senatorial district PDP caucus meeting has been slated for next week to discuss the situation.
The caucus is expected to send two or three names to Senator Onoh among whom he is expected to choose his deputy.
