Cross River Internal Revenue Service Chairman Host Federal Road Safety Corps Zonal Commander, Society of Women in Taxation

The Chairman of Cross River Internal Revenue Service, Mr. Akpanke Ogar has played host to the Zonal Commander of the Federal Road Safety Corps, FRSC, Assistant Corps Marshall J. A. Owoade, and the Society of Women in Taxation.

Akpanke hosted them separately in his Calabar office where he praised the Federal Road Safety Corps for their continuous effort in the sanitization of road users and urged the Society of Women in Taxation to pursue its goals with vigor and determination.

The Chairman of Cross River Internal Revenue Service said his office is open to more collaboration.

On his part, the FRSC Zonal Commander thanked Dr. Akpanke for the existing collaboration between them stating it has led to a conducive working environment.

He appealed that in the forthcoming Operation Show Your Driver’s License, Legitimate Drivers License Registration, and Secured Drivers License Centers exercise the State Internal Revenue should support as usual.

The Society of Women in Taxation was led by Dr. Obal Usang who expressed gratitude to the Chairman for the opportunity to interface and synergize.

She further added that her organization will carry the State Internal Revenue Service along in its activities.

The Director of Administration of the Cross River Internal Revenue Service, Mrs. Isu Omini was present at both visits.
