The Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC has redeployed Dr. Cyril Omorogbe, Cross River State Resident Electoral Commissioner, REC to Akwa Ibom State.
Dr. Cyril is replacing Barrister Mike Igini who retired recently.
The Edo State REC, Dr. Alalibo Johnson Sinikiem is to resume in Cross River State.
The redeployment of the two RECs was contained in a press release signed by Barrister Festus Okoye, National Commissioner, and Chairman, Information and Voter Education Committee.
Eight other staff were also affected by the routine redeployment.
On March 24th, 2022, 385 staff of the Commission were redeployed.
