Cross River: Sarki Hausa/Fulani Endorse Vote Not Fight, Election No Be War Campaign

The leader of the Hausa/Fulani community in Cross River State, Alhaji Sani Baba Gombe has thrown his weight behind the Vote Not Fight, Election No Be War campaign by Face Initiative.

He endorsed the campaign when the State Technical Committee led by its Team Lead, Mr. Lawrence Peter paid him a courtesy visit on Tuesday.

Alhaji Sani said his community is open to the campaign team. According to him “your objective is good and we will make room for you to come to educate us more.”

He urged the Vote Not Fight, Election No Be War campaign team to remain committed to the course.

Earlier, Mr. Lawrence Peter, State Technical Committee Team Lead stated that the goal of the campaign is to preach peace, oneness, and love before, during, and after the elections.

Mr. Lawrence noted that it is important for all hands to be on deck to achieve a violence-free election.

He commended the leadership of the Hausa/Fulani community in Cross River for receiving them with open hands and endorsement.
