The Cross River State Civil Service has taken the application process for ongoing recruitment into several areas of the State Civil Service online.
Following the crowd of applicants that had swarmed designated offices across the State to request application forms, the Commission resorted to receiving them online only. Those who had filled out the physical forms and submitted them are also advised to use the online portal.
In a statement seen by CrossRiverWatch, the government encouraged all those interested in the various vacancies “to log on to www.crsgrecruitment.com portal to apply for the various vacancies published by the Commission.”
The statement partly reads: “Sequel to the ongoing Cross River State Government recruitment exercise by the Cross River State Civil Service Commission, the Commission has decided to stop the manual or in-person collection of applications and will commence an online application forthwith starting 12noon Friday, 18th November 2022 through 2nd of December, 2022.”
The statement also asked, “applicants who have submitted hardcopies to the Commission” to also apply online, as “physical application is hereby discontinued.”
The statement insists that “all candidates must have a valid means of identification such as a valid driver’s license, National identification card, international passport, voters card” amongst other criteria.

This is to inform the general public that the publication circulating the social media, disapproving the use of Hardcopy Forms for the Cross River State Civil Service employment application is fake, fraudulent and untrue.
The State Civil Service Commission is issuing hardcopy forms free to the general public and no one should be asked to do any registration online or through any other medium.
The method for the State Civil Service recruitment application, is still with a hard copy form issued by the State Civil Service Commission free.
The hard copy forms are available and that is the only recognized method of application and again is free.
The information is false, fraudulent and not recognize by the Commission.
