By Richard Ndoma, Leadership Newspaper

Cross River State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB) has begun the execution of 32 new projects in public schools across the three senatorial districts of the State.

The State SUBEB Chairman, Senator Stephen Odey, disclosed this in Calabar on Thursday during an interaction with journalists.

Odey stated that the projects were part of the State Government’s resolve to improve the standard of education in the State.

At the kick-off ceremony of the projects/handing over of sites for 2022 UBE/SUBEB intervention projects to contractors across the State, the SUBEB Chairman stated that with the 32 projects education would have received a boost in the State.

Among the 32 new projects include; the construction/rehabilitation of three, four, and six classroom blocks, the construction of a borehole and overhead tank, construction of a vocational hall, amongst others.
