Gory Image: Mother Butcher Only Son In Cross River

A woman identified as Mrs. Blessing (other name yet to be gotten) in the early hours of Tuesday 29 November 2022 chopped off the head of her only son of about 2 years old.

According to eyewitnesses, the gory scene happened at Ibenda 2, Biko-Biko, Ugep, Yakurr Local Government Area of Cross River State.

Neighbors who saw her washing off her son’s blood from the machete used to commit the act inquired from her the reason behind the act, she replied saying she was told to do so by an invisible person and she will be rewarded with a hundred thousand N100,000 when she is done with the task.

The main reason why she butchered the infant is not fully established at the time of this report.

She has been arrested by the Police for further investigations.

Meanwhile, the corpse of the infant is set to undergo traditional rites before the burial, a source told CrossRiverWatch.
