UNICAL To Hold 44th Matriculation Ceremony December 2nd, 2022

The management of the University of Calabar (UNICAL) has announced Friday, December 2nd, 2022 for the 44th matriculation ceremony of the institution.

This was contained in a memo with reference number UC/REG/CIR/64 and signed by Registrar, Gabriel O. Egbe mandating Faculty Officers to ensure matriculating students start the procession at 8:30 am while the Vice Chancellor’s procession is scheduled to commence at 9:30 am and the ceremony kicks off from 10:00 am.

Management also announced a lecture-free day for the matriculants.

It reads: The 44th Matriculation Ceremony of the University of Calabar earlier postponed has been scheduled as follows:

Date:Friday, December 2, 2022

Time: 10:00 am prompt

Venue: Abraham Ordia Stadium, Unical

Faculty/Institute Officers should ensure that matriculating students start the procession at 8:30 am.

The Vice Chancellor’s procession is scheduled to commence at 9:30 am while the ceremony kicks off at 10:00 am.

In line with the Vice Chancellor’s directive, Friday, December 2, 2022, has been declared Lecture Free Day for all freshmen to enable them to participate fully in the ceremony. Provost, Deans of Faculties/Directors of Institutes, and Heads of Departments/Units are to ensure strict compliance with this directive, please.
