Hon. Bassey Akiba wins Calabar Municipality/Odukpani Federal Constituency election under Labour Party (LP).
He received 23,759 votes, defeating the All Progressives Congress (APC) Party candidate, Edim Inok who received 21,16 votes, and the PDP candidate, Hon. Etta Mbora, who got 19,584 votes.
Hon. Akiba is a former Chairman of Odukpani and had represented the LGA in the House of Assembly.
