Governor Ben Ayade of Cross River State has appointed Imani Odey as Special Adviser on Electronic Media.
Her appointment is coming less than 55 days before the governor handover to the next government of Sen. Prince Otu.
This was contained in a press release on Thursday, April 6, 2023, signed by Christian Ita, Special Adviser on Media and Publicity to the governor.
It reads in part: “The State Governor, His Excellency, Prof. Ben Ayade, has approved the appointment of Imani Odey as Special Adviser, Electronic Media.
“Imani was until the latest appointment, the Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Electronic Media.
“Her new appointment is with immediate effect.”
