Governor Ayade did the groundbreaking ceremony of the Indigo Hotel, a five-star hospitality facility, along Murtala Muhammed Highway Calabar, in September 2022. He claimed Manoj Jagtiani, the Chief Executive Officer of Indigo Hotels, had come to build the first five-star hotel in the State and that the hotel was going to be completed in seven months.
Seven months after, (September 2022 – April 2023), not even one strand of grass has been cleared on the site. Ayade just wanted to use his con man friend to acquire that land and nothing more.
When I say our Governor is a smooth-talking liar whose tongue is far from truth, my readers think I am exaggerating.
Let me also remind you that it’s 54 days to handing over and the Governor still doesn’t have a single FUNCTIONAL project in the State after 8 years in office.
