Governor Otu Sets 3-Man Transition Report Review Committee

The Executive Governor of Cross River State, Senator Bassey Otu has set a three-man committee to review the transition report.

This was contained in a press release signed by the Permanent Secretary, General Administration Office, Office of the Secretary to the State Government – Dr. Innocent  Eteng, stating that the Committee is to amongst other things review and harmonize the transition report and present the same to the Governor for consideration and further necessary action.

The three-man committee is headed by Ntufam Fidelis Ugbo as Chairman; Professor Eyo Etim Nyong as Member and Professor Anthony Owan-Enoh as Secretary.

The Governor also “instructed all accounts belonging to the State Government to be frozen with immediate effect and that all transactions be stopped forthwith. Adding: “I have been briefed by the Accountant General and the Head of Service,” he said in his official Twitter handle.

They are expected to report back to the governor with urgency.
