In a bid to reposition Cross River State Civil Service, Governor Bassey Otu has sought a cordial working relationship with the Organized Labour in the State.
The purpose of the meeting held inside the Governor’s Lodge in Calabar on Tuesday, June 20, 2023, was geared toward optimal performance and a harmonious relationship with the Cross River State Civil Service.
During the meeting, Governor Otu chanted Labour’s solidarity song to energize the Union’s leaders and received a letter of demands from the Nigerian Labor Congress (NLC) State Chairman Gregory Ulayi and Trade Union Congress (TUC) Chairman Monday Ogbodum.
The meeting had in attendance all Organized Labour leaders in the State.
Also present in the meeting were the Chief of Staff to the Governor, Hon. Emmanuel Ironbar, and other government appointees.
