The Cross River Basin Development Authority, CRBDA, has warned traders occupying its gate to relocate or face the wrath of the law.

In a statement issued on Monday, it gave them a five-day ultimatum to vacate the premises.

The activities of the vendors have turned to the entrance into a mini market, in recent years.

The deadline for the “stoppage of any form of trading/business at the restricted area is Friday, August 26, 2023,” the Authority warned.

Furthermore, the Authority stressed that those who do not comply will be “arrested and handed over to law enforcement agency.”
