The Department of Nursing Services in the University of Calabar Teaching Hospital (UCTH) hosted its annual prize-giving award ceremony which is centered on recognizing excellence, dedication, and commitment to service.
In the event yesterday, Nurse Rebecca Mendie was honored and celebrated as the best Nurse of 2022, owing to her dedication and commitment.
The Chairman of the Medical Advisory Committee, Dr. Michael Eyong, who represented the Chief Medical Director congratulated the leadership of the Nursing Services Department in the hospital and called on others to emulate them.
The Director of Administration, Barr. Ededet Eyoma who was also in attendance applauded the Director of Nursing Services, Mrs. Arit Ironbar for organizing a well-packaged event.
The Chairman of the occasion, Prof. Nwagbara also congratulated all the awardees and charged them to stay committed to service.
The event was graced by the management and staff of the hospital.
