State Emergency Management Agency Gets New Director General

The Executive Governor of Cross River State, Senator Bassey Otu has appointed Angela Ogeyi Odey as the new Director General of the State Emergency Management Agency (SEMA).

The appointment was contained in a press release signed by Edem Darlington, Deputy Chief Press Secretary to the Governor dated August 1, 2023.

It reads: “His Excellency Senator (Prince) Bassey Edet Otu, Governor of Cross River State has approved the appointment of Chief (Mrs.) Angela Ogeyi Odey as the Director-General of the State Emergency Management Agency m (SEMA).

“The appointment takes effect from August 1, 2023.

“The Governor charges the new appointee to bring her wealth of experience to bear in her new role and wishes her the best in service to the State.”
