The Department of Curriculum and Teaching at the University of Calabar has organized a post-teaching practice orientation exercise for its final-year students.
The exercise held on Monday evaluated the performance of those who just returned, and it was interactive.
During the evaluation program, the resource person, Dr. Roland Afen encouraged the students to share their experiences gathered during their teaching practice.
Although only some students gave experience depending on the various schools where they were posted.
However, Dr. Roland reiterated the importance of the 3 domains (cognitive, psychomotor, and psychosocial) in achieving learning objectives.
According to him, “With the help of the 3 domains of learning, learning can be more effective.”
Emphasizing the importance of teaching practice Dr. Roland said “The importance of the teaching practice is to enable students to gather more practical experiences.”
