Gov. Bassey Otu Makes New Appointments, Urged Them To Bring Experience To Bear

The Governor of Cross River State, Senator Bassey Edet Otu, has approved the following appointments to the Cross River State Carnival Commission. 

According to a press statement signed by Mr. Emmanuel Ogbeche, Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Gabe Onah is Executive Chairman of the Commission. 

Mr. Austin Cobham is Secretary while James Bullem, Grace Ann Nku, Shirley Effiom, and Bassey Effiom Archibong are Members of the Commission.

Similarly, Mr. Ojoi Ekpeyong has been appointed as the Managing Director of Cross River State Tourism Bureau.

In a related development, Mr. Effiong A. Ekpeyong and Mr. Tomas Edim Ikpeme have been appointed as Special Advisers for events Management, Governor’s Office, and Tourism Development, respectively.

All the appointments take effect from August 1, 2023.

The Governor charges the new appointees to bring their wealth of experience to bear in their new roles and see their appointments as a call to service.
