A nursing mother of one identified as Mary Obeten Peter has cried out as her younger sister – Hannah secretly got married to her husband – Peter Obeten.

The said couple hails from Ugep, Yakurr Local Government Area of Cross River State.

The incident is said to have occurred during the period of her pregnancy period in Lagos State where they reside.

In an official Facebook post, Mrs. Mary Peter Obeten whose marriage is barely three years, expressed displease over her kid sister and husband’s act.

She said: “My kid sister has finally succeeded in taking my husband as her husband, may God judge you amen,” prayed.

Peter, a plumber, and Mary got married in 2021 and blessed with a child in 2023, were said to have been happily married before the shocking turnaround.

The couple invited Hannah to assist with house chores since Mary was pregnant and later gave birth. But Hannah and the sister’s husband secretly entered into an affair.

According to verified sources, she persuaded Peter Obeten in the third week of September 2023 to divorce Mary so she could take over. They eventually wedded on October 11, 2023.

Mary further shares her pain saying her sister and husband now live together while she is in the village nursing her child.

However, Peter has shown no remorse for his gesture as he shared on Facebook saying “Love is blind. I found love before and I found love again. Love can happen to anybody, it could be you. Do not judge. Love is like an ocean, it can carry you away. Love is strong and no one can break it.  Please do not judge so that you will not be judged,” he averred, adding that he still loves his former wife.
