The Cross River rerun by-election into Akamkpa/Biase Federal Constituency; Obanliku State constituency, and Yala 2 State constituency have commenced, our reporters on ground reports.
In Akwa IBami polling unit 018 in Akamkpa Local Government Area, voting and accreditation commenced simultaneously at about 10 am.

Voter turnout is said to be encouraging with the presence of almost 30 security personnel comprising the Road Safety, Civil Defence, Police, and others while INEC officials are on ground.
From Okopedi polling unit 015, Akamkpa LGA, voting commenced at about 9:AM.
There are volumes of security agents with not less than four security vans.
