Results from the Cross River rerun by-election into Akamkpa/Biase Federal Constituency; Obanliku State constituency, and Yala 2 State Constituency are beginning to roll in, courtesy of our reports on ground.

Jubilation as PDP candidate,  Pius Ashakia wins PU Bayaga

The Presiding Officer fills the Form EC60(E) which is the publication of results to be displayed at the polling unit.

At  Bayaga, Bisu Ward of Obanliku Polling Unit, election has ended. The earlier skirmishes which saw the Police arrest thugs were quelled with the arrival of reinforcements from the Nigerian Police and the Nigerian Army which is providing extra cover. CrossRiverWatch understands that the skirmishes were a result of party agents from the All Progressives Congress and the People’s Democratic Party trying to buy votes.
