Following the election held on the 7th of June, 2024 by the Association of Cross River State Public Procurement Officers, (ACRIPPO) new members have been inaugurated and presented to the State Due Process and Price Intelligence Bureau (DPPIB).
The inauguration was held at the office of the Director-General, DPPIB, where a formal presentation was done alongside the presentation of certificates to the new excos.
Speaking during the presentation, the newly sworn in Chairman of ACRIPPO, Adung Gabriel Adung, in his speech said he was honored to be elected into the chairmanship position and promised to consolidate on his predecessor’s strides.
Adung assured that the welfare of his members will be his priority, even as his office will operate an open door policy that allows for constructive criticisms that will sharpen and put the Association in the right direction.
The Director-General of DPPIB, Hon. Charles Atu, lauded the immediate past executives for a successful handover and charged the new executives to take up the baton with a good beginning and end well.
He commended the immediate past excos headed by Comrade Gabriel Ukwada, the out-going Chairman of ACRIPPO for a successful transition.
The event climaxed with the presentation of awards to the immediate past excos.
The newly elected excos has Gabriel Adung as the Chairman, Mrs. Eme Okang – Vice Chairman, Evong Moduck – Secretary General, John Ubanu – Deputy Secretary, Ovat Owop – Financial Secretary, Takim Ajie – Treasurer, Ntui Isong – Director Welfare, Eyu Chris – Director of Information and Joyce Ojar as the Provost Marshall.
Comrade Ukwada Gabriel, immediate past Chairman was made the Ex Officio 1 and Isaac Magnus, immediate past Secretary, Ex Officio 2.
