The Cross River State Police Command has commended and awarded deserving officers of the Force for their dedication and outstanding performance.
The Command said the initiative is aimed to inspire all officers to strive for excellence.
The awards were presented during the monthly mess gathering at the Police Officers’ Mess, Moore Road, Calabar in various categories.
For Community Policing Advocacy, the awardees are CSP Henry Nwachukwu, Divisional Police Officer (DPO) of Ugep, Yakurr Local Government Area, and SP Paulinus Njah, DPO of Yala.
The Frontrunner, Anti-Cultism Crusade has CSP Innocent Ayabotu, DPO of Federal Housing Division.
For Innovation in People-Oriented Policing category, SP Frankly Aduhor, DPO of Uwanse, scooped the prize.
Community Policing and Good Relationship with Members of the Public, SP Dzungwe Teryima Anthony, DPO of Ikom Division was honored.
Best Detective went to Inspector Martins Eghong, Anti-Robbery Section, (D5) State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID), Calabar.
Outstanding Prosecutor saw Inspector Ramsey Ekomo muscle the award.
The State Commissioner of Police, CP Grimah lauded the recipients for their hard work and dedication, encouraging them to continue their exemplary service.
According to the Command’s spokesman, SP Irene Ugbo, CP Grimah emphasized that the initiative aims to motivate other officers to achieve similar excellence, as the awards of commendation will remain a continuous exercise under his stewardship to foster a culture of hard work and dedication within the Force.
