After eight months of reconstruction, a mini bridge at Yellow Duke by Palm Street in Calabar South Local Government Area of Cross River State has been completed and opened for use.
The culvert over the years was a dead trap, with multiple accidents witnessed.

The bridge construction which boasts a modern architectural design and promises to enhance connectivity and ease passage for motorists and pedestrians heading to Mount Zion and other parts of Calabar and Municipal LGAs, is on the heels of public outcry
The prolonged reconstruction had forced drivers to take alternative routes, causing inconvenience and increased time. However, with it reopening, commuters express smoother journeys.

“We are thrilled to see the bridge finally open. It’s a huge relief for us,” said Mr. Ekpo, a commercial driver.
