The Vice Chancellor of the University of Calabar (UNICAL), Professor Florence Obi has extended the appointment of the institution’s youngest Head of Department, Engr. Eludire Oluwadamilare Oluwasegun of the Department of Agricultural and Bioresources Engineering.
The extension was contained in a letter of appointment personally signed by the Vice Chancellor dated March 12, 2025, stating that the extension is for a duration of two years.
The letter said he is expected to re-discharge his duties diligently by effectively administering the Department to ensure optimal productivity.
Prof. Florence, while charging all and sundry in the varsity to accord him the necessary respect, warned that the management will not hesitate to sanction any head of department found wanting.
